Giving to Art & Ecology at UNM

Art & Ecology Scholarships for Graduate Students: Your gift supports our graduate students to pursue publicly-engaged and ecological art work. You can support a student through a named fellowship or through the general A&E Graduate Scholarship Fund.

Art & Ecology Student Travel: Your gift may be directed towards courses involving student travel for undergraduates and graduates. A&E courses create diverse travel opportunities that allow students to experience field-based, hands-on learning environments beyond the traditional classroom setting.

Art & Ecology Community Engagement: Your gift can directly support A&E collaborations in various communities by providing funding for materials, transportation, and administrative support. We have partnerships with Working Classroom and the Barelas Community Coalition in Albuquerque, with Epicenter in Green River, UT, and Barrio Buena Vista in El Paso, TX; we are continually committed to investigating ways to connect students to off-campus communities. Learning the skills involved in community engagement is a core part of our curriculum, and we encourage our students to extend their class engagements into thesis work and other projects.
